REX Auctions — Terms and Conditions (version 2026-09, placeholder)

**This is placeholder text for development. The wording will be replaced by the

solicitor's version before launch (Design Decisions 9, 11, 26a, 33).**

  1. Registering to bid on a car places an authorisation hold of £50 or £100 on your card.
  2. A bid is binding. If you win and do not pay in full within two working days, you owe

REX Auctions a default fee equal to the deposit amount, which is taken from the hold.

  1. If your highest bid is below the seller's reserve, it stands as an offer to the seller

until the end of the next working day, and any counter-offer you make is likewise binding.

  1. Dealing off-site to avoid the commission is not permitted.
