REX Auctions — Terms and Conditions (version 2026-09, placeholder)
**This is placeholder text for development. The wording will be replaced by the
solicitor's version before launch (Design Decisions 9, 11, 26a, 33).**
- Registering to bid on a car places an authorisation hold of £50 or £100 on your card.
- A bid is binding. If you win and do not pay in full within two working days, you owe
REX Auctions a default fee equal to the deposit amount, which is taken from the hold.
- If your highest bid is below the seller's reserve, it stands as an offer to the seller
until the end of the next working day, and any counter-offer you make is likewise binding.
- Dealing off-site to avoid the commission is not permitted.
